This is a flower story of one smart little girl who loved flowers. And once in her birthday she was involved in to one absolutely wonderful, but dangerous at the same time adventure. She was walking on the forest edge, gathering various herbs and flowers. Suddenly she saw one absolutely fabulous flower with a Fairy in it. But the Fairy is sick. Now her main goal is to heal the Fairy and restore the balance in the nature. Suddenly plants became covered with weeds and webs. Your task now is to make right decisions all through the game and help little girl fulfill her mission successfully in this cute match-three game with absolutely adorable graphics.

I downloaded Flowers Story from game.giveawayoftheday.com. It ran fine at first, but after quiting and restarting, the game crashes.
Can you help?
June 2nd, 2007 at 4:15 am
It seems some people were having trouble with this game, too. It works fine for me, but on the Giveaway of the day it was suggested if you have an Nvidia graphics card to update to the latest driver. Seemed to work for some.
June 2nd, 2007 at 9:27 am
I love this game, BUT
Downloaded from Giveaway & played for about 20mins - no problems. Cam back to it at lunch time and it started blacking out. After 6 tries I uninstalled and reinstalled from mirror link. Same problem - fine for a while then blackouts. Tried rebooting - no difference. This morning I am trying playing in a window and has been OK for 15 mins so far.
Graphics card is Sis616F and drivers are up to date.
I would have recommended it to friends and family, but not with these problems.
I love the game and really want to complete it but doubt whether I will bother if window mode also crashes on me.
June 2nd, 2007 at 9:41 am
I was able to play most of the game with no problems until the later levels outside of the town. At first I simply save and resume mid-level in case of the sporadic exits. Now I’m entirely unable to progress past the arrangement where the forester goes to the wolves. I cannot even play the survival mode at this point. All sugguested fixes on GGotD are to no avail.
June 2nd, 2007 at 11:44 am
Same basic issues as WK and JoyB here. Game would randomly shut itself off without any warning. Working through that and continuing to play I was able to get to the forester up until he says to play with his son while he takes care of the wolves. Finish making the bouquet for the son and just as the fireworks finish and the level states it has been completed a runtime error pops up. Every time.
Program D:\Program Files\Flowers\game.dat
“This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application’s support team for more information.”
Disappointing to say the least. Is there a way to fix this? Preferably without having to buy it, since the giveaway version’s time is up.
June 2nd, 2007 at 3:39 pm
I am having the EXACT same problem as Julia mentioned in the previous post, at the exact same point in the game. Very frustrating, especially since I have yet to find a way to contact the support team other than posting here. ARGH! It was an enjoyable game until I got to the Forester’s house…
June 3rd, 2007 at 3:38 am
I like this game and would really like to play it. But it closes all the time. The only thing that sometimes works is shutting down the computer and then starting it again.
June 3rd, 2007 at 6:36 pm
By far the best game I have played in a long time, please fix problems and offer game again.Thank you.
June 3rd, 2007 at 8:48 pm
Really like this game, wonder what happens after the wolves have been chased away.
If the problem isn’t fixed I will never know. What a shame.
Please fix the problem….
June 4th, 2007 at 1:00 pm
Download game again from this link http://www.robingames.com/download-page/flowers-story/ ,please. Crashes fixed.
June 4th, 2007 at 6:31 pm
I downloaded the patch, got past the Forester’s house, and got the same C++ runtime error a few boards later.
June 4th, 2007 at 8:37 pm
Thank you so much, OlegKuznetsov! Worked beautifully.
Downloaded the exe file, installed it, didn’t even have to uninstall the original version I had. Wah-la! Game ran just fine to finish. Much, much, much appreciation!
June 5th, 2007 at 1:23 am
It seems to be working great now. I am so glad - this is the most fun I’ve had playing a game in a long time.
Spasiba bolshoi (excuse the spelling
, Oleg.
June 5th, 2007 at 2:28 am
I’ve also downloaded the patch, and it worked fine past the druid but now that I’ve finished feeding the animals the game locks with a runtime error every time I start the game now. Won’t even let me play survival without kicking me out…
June 5th, 2007 at 5:34 am
Same here - it ran great until all the animals were fed and now I keep getting the runtime error.
What a shame - I really, really like this game.
Another fix, pretty please with cinnamon sprinkled on it :-p

Got a debug fix from Oleg this morning and have been playing for a while - so far, so good. Keeping my fingers crossed
I do like having my own magic wand!
Thanks again!
June 5th, 2007 at 6:29 pm
Can I get the new fix? I downloaded the last one, got past the Forester’s house, played a few more boards, and now I keep getting the same C++ Runtime Error on the second trip to the Villager’s house, as soon as I click on the house. Thanks so much!
June 5th, 2007 at 6:58 pm
Finished the game - in relax mode - LOVED it! I am keeping it - will try survival next. Thanks again for fixing the bugs - yea, it was super frustrating for a while, but worth it.
June 5th, 2007 at 8:10 pm
LadyCerridwen, sent fix to you too. Try it =)
June 6th, 2007 at 2:24 am
Wow, thanks for being so quick to respond! I played through to the end with no further problems, and have started a second game, so I can see the other ending. Great game, despite the poor English!
June 6th, 2007 at 9:29 am
The game is very fun but it keeps crashing on me.
I downloaded from GameGiveaway and had the same problems as others.
I see someone said if I post my problem here you’ll send me a fix.
Can I get the new fix that LadyCerridwen has mentioned?
Please, I would like to play game without the frustrating crashes.
Thank you.
June 6th, 2007 at 10:13 am
I just downloaded the file from here that was supposed to be a patch.
I installed it in my existing folder and now it says I only have 60 minutes to play.
It unregistered my game.
I played 11 minutes with no crashes! Great. But now I only have 49 minutes left.
Strangely, when I launch the program from a 2nd login on the same computer there is no mention of the time limit, but the game still crashes right away. Even before playing a single board.
Can this be fixed?
Would this same thing happen if I purchased this game from you?
Please help. Thank you.
June 6th, 2007 at 10:23 am
Robby Anagnostis, try debug patch from email, please =)
June 6th, 2007 at 2:55 pm

I just had to write to say publicly how impressed I am with “Robin Games”. They’ve been ever so helpful with all the problems people have been having with “Flowers Story” that they downloaded from “GiveAwayOfTheDay”. I also had the same problems with it blacking out. Now that I’ve read through these posts; I know exactly what to do, and how to do it. Thank you so much for being so cooperative with us “freebie-mongers”! However when it comes to a game like this, that is so enjoyable to play, we’ve just gotta have it! THANKS!! Especially to Oleg! Oh, and to GAOTD, also!
June 7th, 2007 at 1:58 pm
Thanks for the offer of the registration key for those of us who downloaded from GOTD. Have sent e-mail.

Oleg, thanks for the newest fixed version. And also for the registration key, you have been kind and generous.
Thank you.

Oleg, Thank you for EVERYTHING. I’ve been extremely busy, so I haven’t had a chance to download new version; am looking forward to doing so and enjoy the game. Great job in keeping everyone “in the loop” on this. You’re very kind and generous.

We have enjoyed this game so much! Then it started crashing. It so nice of you to let those of us who downloaded from GAOTD have a chance to download a fix and also to give the registration code. I just e-mailed you to get it and cannot wait to get it so that we can keep playing.
