I have a question:on farm 1,there are five(or more?I don’t know) challenges,and the challenge stage 5, he ask me to bring “20 each of the best flowers”, does that means 20 sevenpetels, 20 black roses and 20 crystal flowers? I completed that but he just keeps on asking me for that. I can’t submit the flowers to him.Why?

Would love to buy this game but can’t. I’ve tried the last 2 days numerous times to pay with PayPal and it takes me through all steps until you go to click Continue to finalize the payment. There is “No Continue Button” I contacted Paypal and they said it had to be something wrong with the way you have it set up.

At farm 4 NONE of my plants upgrade from stage 2 to stage 3. I can’t fulfill the quest of the pirateking (10 fiery lights, 10 strange lights, 10 fiery crystals) - It’s not a time issue. I found the parents at day 130 and now it’s day 225. Can someone tell me what’s going on??

To the developer/s: I LOVE YOU! it’s a great game!
To julie foley: the quest is to reach the objetctive with limited resources… use it wisely… water plants at last moment… spare resources…
To Merith: in that stages my plants upgrade OK (eh… slow but OK) (playing version 1.016) i can fulfill correctly that request.
My problem: Stage 4 in Big Town - request 2 of best plants of each kind - i have the plants (not the flowers but the status is not recognized, must quit the game and enter again (continue the quest at that point) to be accepted as correct.

to julie foley: i sold two of the three plants. i mean 6 normal flowers, 3 better and only 1 best?? you don’t need 3 plants for that. the water is more than enough for one plant to fully upgrade.

I downloaded the udpated version of the game and now there is a large white bar on the left side of the screen that won’t leave. Is there any way to fix this glitch?

I also have the large white bar down the left side of the screen. Total warehouse and water capacity has disappeared. The picking hand is ugly and obtrusive in an unnecessary white rectangle. Wells and barrels have changed in some gardens. Thought updates were to improve the game not spoil it.

Hi, I have two versions of this game installed on my computer, 1.014 bought from Big Fish Games and the latest 1 hour trial from you. They are not compatible so I am left with having to buy the upgraded one from you when I thought I already owned the game! I have sent a stroppy email to BFG but have had no reply as yet. I really want to complete this game but see no way out of paying twice. Do you have any suggestions please? Regards. Jane.

Thanks Oleg for the speedy reply to my problem concerning the white bar down the left side of the screen, followed your advice and reinstalled the game to a different installation folder and bingo!! we no longer have this problem. If there is to be another update would really love it if the warehouse capacity and water capacity came back. Don’t realise just how much water you are using when you don’t have this option. By the way my husband is enjoying doing his exams,and being able to feed Robin his sweets, which is a new addition to this game. Thanks again, keep up the good work!!!

thanks heaps Oleg for the new version….have d/led it and finished the level with the crabs not i’m onto the last task with the chief and I have to bring him 5 each of the pineapples….i can’t do anything….my dragon waters and fetches plants and kills crabs but i can’t o anything with my mouse…..just wondering is this level meant to be like that and Robin do everything or is there a prob ? please and thanks heaps

Are there three exams or four? I thought the parents said there would be four exams but I’ve done three and then we went somewhere for George the pirate dragon’s party and now there is no one left to talk to and I’ve just gone through level 30. Hello, I am on the 2nd towns quest where he asks for 2 of each of that farms best flowers, I have gotten 2 golden strawberries, 2 fiery red hearts and 2 crystal bell flowers. Heather, we forum members don’t know yet. I think it will take some time for Reflexive and other publishers to update their downloads. But I am sure that sooner or later you will get all future versions.
Unfortunately, the version made by Meridian ‘93 won’t work for you.
But you can still improve your score. How many days did it take for you to rescue the parents?
It is fun to work out a strategy to become faster.
My latest attempt: 71 days.

I just got the latest version of the game. I’m trying to raise the $5 grand exam fee for the pirate but I don’t have the option of buying a basket, so I can actually collect any plants. Is it supposed to be this way or is this a glitch?

Angelique, it depends on the publisher you bought the game from.
May I suppose that you bought it from Meridian ‘93/RobinGames, that means RegNow was responsible for the financial transaction, then have a look at their FAQ-page. ( http://www.regnow.com/faq_download.html#downloadQ2 )

Most distributors have their own launcher for games. Thus it is not possible to use the games published by the developer to upgrade. The only possibility for you to get the latest version of the game is to contact the customer support of MSN Games and to ask them politely whether they can change their download. The latest version (1.023) of Magic Farm seems to be the final version. One can give treats to Robin and take an exam.

Which version of the game do you have? I remember that there were some issus with previous versions. Maybe you have installed the game the wrong way. Take a look into the Magic Farm Forum, FAQ section, to read more about the installation of upgrades.

The save files are located in C:\documents and settings\USERNAME\userdata\Meridian93\Magic Farm
The early versions of the game had all information in a folder called “profile”, the most recent versions’ save files can be found in “robingames\profile”. Maybe it will help if you copy and overwrite the save files from one folder to another.
Then there might be some issus with the version of some publishers. e.g. The version bought from reflexive will save the files to “reflexive/profile”. Once again copying and overwriting should help.

monica, you have come to the end of V1.019. I far as I can remember the last two things to do are a exam with 5 stages in Rosemont and a challenge with 5 stages in Port Arrowhead. So there are no more quests for you to do.
Nevertheless you can start the game from the beginning again and try to rescue the parents faster. Have you beaten Margo, 90 days, 80 days, yet? It is one of the most interesting aspects of the game to develop strategies to gain the coins needed much faster.

And I see a new charater.He is a enchanter. And he also tell me a long dialog.
And I go back every farm but no new task or nobody come.

That is the end of the game. The new character is the headmaster of the Floral Academy and he has come to give you the diploma because you were sucessfully taking your exam.
Congratulations!
Now it is time to look forward to a new version/edition of Magic Farm. Maybe Robin Games/Meridian ‘93 will release a Deluxe version soon. I am just speculating. News about the game and future releases can be found in the forum:

Now that you have completed the game, have you tried to improve your highscore? Iris parents are eager to come home faster than 100 days. Maybe you can rescue them in less than 80 days? The best score so far is 73 days. I know that you can do it too.

Dlfkitty, the update is already available. Click on the Download link above and install the latest version. Magic Farm comes as an complete package, there is no separate update file.
The changes to version 1.023 are:
- added possibility to “rent” the game
- slightly faster loading procedure
But there are no new quests.
